Stew, a boat owner who owns a powerful 180ft yacht, resolved to start racing more often in the summer of 2021. So, he handed over creating chafe protection patches to Alfresco Composites in Newport, RI.
However, he had one problem – finding an effective way of protecting the pristine wooden finish on his vessel. The last thing he wanted was to laminate the boat with wet resin to get a mold of the structure. So instead, he connected with us, and our team scanned all the necessary parts and molds for C.N.C. cutting. From there, Alfresco Composites took over and created perfectly fitting parts.
